Traffic…Traffic… Traffic; What Does It All Mean!

When I first heard about traffic I was a bit puzzled…what does all that mean?

And really it was all a steep learning curve that has enlightened me to the whole Internet Marketing arena and how to earn money from home.

And in all fairness once you begin to understand it’s meaning it is as clear as day!!

When I first started in the Internet marketing business I was a little bit green in terms of my understanding and comprehension of the business. The constant talk of traffic, backlinks, spiders and other such creepy words really un nerved me… however once I got to understand the whole concept it was as if I had been hit by a lightening bolt!!

Starting off with building up my website was the first obstical and I will admit it now the who idea was totally out of my comfort zone; but now things have totally changed and I am able to make amendments to websites and add posts etc and I learnt a great deal of information and had great support from my colleagues.

Traffic is one of the essential componants that is vital to your presence on the internet… no traffic, no presence… no sales!!! Simple.

As part of your marketing strategy you need to get people where you want them; opting in to your site, looking at your services or products and then the ultimate reward is a sale. But it does take time and hard work to get that prescence and is one item that should be high on your agenda. It is not always a free option and it can cost you money in the initial stages but is essential if you want your business to be successful.

So… how do you get that traffic to your website?

First of all ensure that you have got all your links to your products or services in order; there is no point in setting up any marketing strategy if the links don’t work. And ensure that you have all your payment processors in order; if they want to buy you must be ready to give them what they have asked for!!

You will need to understand that if you want to succeed then you need to approach your marketing campaign in a two fold way… Free and Paid.

There are many diverse ways to generate traffic to your site; and the free options are great; you can generate traffic using social media and writing well constructed articles and blogs; however a well structured PPC (pay per click) campaign is necessary. This needs to be calculated within your budget and in effect to be taylored to your specific needs. With a great campaign you will soon start to generate the traffic to your website and in effect make some crucial sales.

Success in your chosen campaign will be determined on the amount of effort you put into your business; researh is a key element that needs to be a focus. having an understanding of your chosen market will help you to drive that all important traffic to your site, then the sky really is the limit!!

Success is measured by the steps we take… each small step can lead to great things… just keep looking forward!!
